The National Trust’s historic Grossmann House, Church Street, Maitland will be open to the public on Sunday 14th March. This is the last local opportunity to see the collection of rare Georgian glass before it returns to Sydney. A brand-new display has a colonial Indian theme and features an 1850’s stunning hand-made, richly embroidered muslin wedding dress and veil along with an 1840’s men’s Banyan morning gown. One-hour tours begin at 10:30. Bookings at Eventbrite, $10 per person, $8 concession, National Trust members free. Refreshments available.
